About the Role
The Field Service Technician will be responsible for travelling to customer sites worldwide (mainly North America) to perform mechanical and technical services on blow moulding machines.
Key Activities
Perform on-site installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of blow-molding machines (Sidel, Krones, or KHS).
Assist with machine installations, start-ups, overhauls, and retrofits.
Troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform corrective actions.
Provide technical support to ensure optimal equipment performance and customer satisfaction.
Document service visits thoroughly and communicate feedback to the internal team.
Maintain tools and adhere to safety protocols during all fieldwork.
Serve as the face of the company at customer locations, maintaining professional and positive relationships.
Travel at least 50% of the time.
Preferred Skills
Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and technical manuals
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
Education and Experience
5+ years of field service experience in the PET or blow molding industry (Sidel, KHS, Krones, or similar equipment experience required)
Strong mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting skills
Valid passport and driver’s license
Must speak English
