About the Role

The Associate Principal Scientist will be provided scientific leadership and bioanalytical expertise in Flow Cytometry, PCR, and ELISpot platforms, supporting both preclinical and clinical studies. This role partners closely with clients to ensure high-quality data delivery, regulatory compliance, and overall project success.

Key Activities

  • Independently propose assay designs and bioanalytical strategies, and lead the development, validation, execution, and troubleshooting of bioanalytical methods, including PK and biomarker assays, under GLP/GCLP conditions.

  • Conduct sample testing, analyse and interpret data, and present results internally and externally as required.

  • Serve as Principal Investigator (PI), acting as the primary client interface from study design through scheduling, execution, reporting, and data transfer, ensuring timely delivery and high customer satisfaction.

  • Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Flow Cytometry, providing technical leadership and guidance across projects.

  • Author and/or review method validation plans, validation reports, technical reports, study reports, and regulatory documentation.

  • Provide laboratory oversight, mentor junior scientists, and contribute to continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives.

  • Assist in the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of policies, procedures, work instructions, and SOPs.

  • Ensure full compliance with GLP, GCLP, GCP, GDP, and corporate EHS standards.

  • Perform other duties as assigned to support departmental and organizational goals.

Education and Experience

  • Advanced degree (PhD, M.Sc., M.A., or B.A.) in Biology, Immunology, Chemistry, Pharmacology, or a related scientific discipline.

  • Demonstrated hands-on experience and strong knowledge of GLP/GCLP bioanalysis.

  • Proven experience in Flow Cytometry method development and validation for PK and PD biomarker assays.
