


About the Role
The QC/QA Inspector is responsible for inspecting materials, in-process production, and finished products to ensure compliance with company quality standards, customer specifications, and regulatory requirements. The role involves monitoring processes, identifying defects, documenting findings, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Activities
Effectively inspect all production lines frequently
Perform Facility Pre-Operation Inspection
Effectively monitor all quality control-related reports (Physical and Redzone). Redzone logs are reviewed at least daily. Failed/ Missed or NC notification will be addressed as soon as possible. Physical logs are visually reviewed daily. Files are properly maintained.
Ensure NCs are properly assigned and completed.
Conduct ongoing audits (visually) to ensure compliance with employees’ cGMP requirements. Report non-conforming cases to the Supervisor / Lead / Manager.
Conduct Monthly Audits with the SQF Practitioner / PCQI.
Conduct Swabbing Procedures to verify Sanitation Procedures.
Conduct Environmental Monitoring swabbing.
Perform in-house calibration of required equipment and monitoring of Workplace Safety. (Ex: X-rays, Scale Calibration, ATP Calibration, etc.)
Perform basic training for new employees as well as ongoing training.
Perform Glass and Brittle Plastic Inspection
Support other QA-QC tasks.
Preferred Skills
Knowledge of the Food Safety Program, including GMPs.
Must have good communication abilities and be fluent in English and Spanish.
Detail-oriented.
Good observation and surveillance skills.
Education and Experience
