About the Role

The Corrugate Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing daily corrugation operations to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality production of corrugated sheets and boxes. This role supervises machine operators and production staff, ensures adherence to production schedules, quality standards, and safety guidelines, and drives continuous improvement on the shop floor.

Key Activities

  • Supervise day-to-day corrugator operations (single-facer, double-backer, wet end & dry end).

  • Manage and guide corrugator operators, helpers, and production staff.

  • Ensure production targets are met while upholding quality and delivery commitments.

  • Monitor machine performance, uptime, speeds, and downtime; take corrective actions.

  • Ensure proper setup and operation of corrugating equipment (splicers, glue kitchen, stackers, cut-off).

  • Maintain board quality parameters (flute profiles, bond strength, warp, moisture).

  • Coordinate with Maintenance for breakdowns and preventive maintenance.

  • Ensure compliance with safety, SOPs, GMP, and housekeeping (5S).

  • Reduce waste, control raw material usage, and improve yield.

  • Conduct in-process quality checks and address defects promptly.

  • Maintain shift reports, production records, and documentation.

  • Train and mentor operators on machine operation, safety, and quality standards.

  • Coordinate with Planning, Quality, and Dispatch teams.

Preferred Skills

  • Strong knowledge of corrugation processes and equipment.

  • Prior supervisory or team-lead experience is highly preferred.

Education and Experience

  • Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Production, Packaging, or related field (preferred).

  • 3–8 years of experience in corrugated packaging manufacturing.
