About the Role

The Sales Executive will have a strong scientific understanding, excellent relationship-building skills, and a proven track record in pharmaceutical or biotech sales.

Key Activities

  • Promote and sell assigned biotech/pharmaceutical products within the designated territory.

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with physicians, researchers, lab managers, hospitals, distributors, and key opinion leaders (KOLs).

  • Achieve or exceed sales targets and market share objectives.

  • Conduct product presentations, demos, and scientific discussions with customers.

  • Identify new business opportunities and expand existing accounts.

  • Stay up to date with product knowledge, clinical data, and competitive landscape.

  • Prepare sales forecasts, territory plans, and activity reports.

  • Participate in conferences, trade shows, and industry events.

  • Collaborate with marketing, medical affairs, and internal teams to support product launches.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience selling specialty pharma, biologics, oncology, diagnostics, or lab solutions.

  • Existing relationships with healthcare professionals or research institutions.

  • MBA or additional sales/marketing training.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Pharmacy, Chemistry, Biology, or related field.

  • 2–6+ years of sales experience in biotech, pharmaceutical, CRO, diagnostics, or medical devices.

  • Strong understanding of scientific/clinical concepts.
