About the Role
The Extrusion Technician will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining extrusion machinery to produce high-quality products according to company specifications and production schedules. The role ensures optimal machine performance, product quality, and compliance with safety standards.
Key Activities
Machine Setup: Prepping extruding machinery, installing, and adjusting dies to meet specific product dimensions
Production Monitoring: Running the extrusion line, managing raw materials (pellets, resins, colorants), and optimizing line speed for efficiency
Quality Control: Inspecting finished products for defects and ensuring conformance to specifications.
Maintenance & Safety: Performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting, adhering to strict safety standards.

Preferred Skills
Ability to monitor, measure, and adjust processes for consistent output.
Knowledge of extrusion processes and materials (e.g., plastics, polymers, resins).
Education and Experience
Strong understanding of machinery, tools, and troubleshooting.
Experience with extrusion processes, polymer materials, and tooling/dies.
2+ years of experience operating extrusion equipment.
