


About the Role
The Accounts Receivable (A/R) Coordinator is responsible for managing incoming payments, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring the timely collection of outstanding invoices. This role plays a critical part in supporting the company’s cash flow and maintaining positive relationships with customers.

Become an expert on your job duties, JDE and on your customers’ behaviours and cadence.
Ask for help and training and offer it to others.
Validate, analyse, categorise, code and clear deductions for the customers assigned…timely!
Research, document and confirm that proper deals are entered into the trade funds management program (Blue Planner) and JD Edwards systems. Invalid deductions will require proving to customers that repayment is due and collecting accordingly.
Communicate with stakeholders and gather and file all documentation relevant to processing.
Identify root causes of invalid deductions to determine methods to prevent future deduction problems whenever possible.
Inter/Intra Departmental support and communication with stakeholders.
Maintain productive working relationships with external and internal stakeholders. Handle all contacts in a professional and courteous manner.
Assist with Accounts Receivable special projects when necessary.
Assist with cash applications and account receivable processing when needed.
Provide any reports and information to appropriate stakeholders when requested.
Experience managing and processing brokerage payments is a plus.
Preferred Skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
Solid understanding of the J.D Edwards system and trade management tool, or other relevant ERP and trade tools.
Education and Experience
High School Diploma. Two-year degree preferred.
At least 5 years of accounting experience
The ability to actively and effectively manage and maintain inter-departmental processes and procedures.
