


About the Role
The Regulatory Compliance Specialist will be responsible for ensuring that the manufacturing facility complies with all applicable regulatory requirements, industry standards, and internal policies. This role monitors regulatory changes, maintains documentation, supports audits, and works cross-functionally to ensure products and processes meet legal and safety requirements.
Key Activities
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulatory requirements applicable to manufacturing operations.
Monitor and interpret regulatory updates and communicate changes to internal teams.
Maintain and update regulatory documentation, records, and compliance reports.
Support internal and external regulatory audits and inspections.
Collaborate with Quality Assurance, Production, Engineering, and EHS teams to ensure regulatory adherence.
Assist in developing and implementing compliance programs, policies, and procedures.
Conduct compliance assessments and risk evaluations of manufacturing processes.
Prepare regulatory submissions, reports, and certifications when required.
Train employees on regulatory compliance standards and best practices.
Investigate compliance issues and recommend corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Preferred Skills
Experience with ISO standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, etc.).
Knowledge of FDA, OSHA, EPA, or other industry regulations depending on manufacturing sector.
Certification in Regulatory Affairs or Compliance is a plus.
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Regulatory Affairs, Environmental Science, Quality Management, or related field.
3–7 years of experience in regulatory compliance within a manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of industry regulations, safety standards, and compliance frameworks.
