


About the Role
The Sales Manager will be responsible for leading the efforts to profitably grow business with major national and regional customers by developing new accounts and by improving share and value mix with existing customers.
Key Activities
Manage the existing sales team, including hiring, training and performance evaluationÂ
Manage sales for selected existing customers and expand reach as applicable.     Â
Seek new customers primarily outside the Northeast.
Develop promotional plans for both new and existing customers.
Manage the sales department's budget and forecast sales performanceÂ
Collaborate in developing new product launches with the sales and marketing team.
Work closely with marketing and other departments to align sales strategies and goals
Work with current food brokers and establish new relationships to expand their customer base and sales.
Preferred Skills
Ability to analyse sales data and market trends to make informed decisions.
Strong communication and time management skills.
Education and Experience
Experience in sales management in both retail and food service.
Strong leadership and team management skills to motivate and guide the sales team.
5+ years’ experience in successful sales leadership.
