About the Role

The Quality Leader will be responsible for overseeing all quality assurance and food safety programs within the food manufacturing facility. This role ensures that products meet regulatory requirements, company quality standards, and customer expectations.

Key Activities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain food safety and quality management systems.

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including Food and Drug Administration (FDA), United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), and Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) standards.

  • Manage and maintain programs such as Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP), GMP, SSOP, and allergen control programs.

  • Lead internal and external audits, including regulatory, customer, and third-party audits.

  • Oversee quality control processes, including raw materials, in-process checks, and finished product inspections.

  • Investigate customer complaints, product deviations, and non-conformances and implement corrective actions.

  • Ensure proper documentation, record keeping, and traceability of all quality and food safety activities.

  • Monitor sanitation and hygiene standards across the facility.

  • Analyse quality data and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, efficiency, and compliance.

  • Participate in new product development and ensure quality requirements are met.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with food safety audits and regulatory inspections.

  • Strong analytical and reporting skills.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Education and Experience

  • Must have experience with poultry processing.

  • Must have a degree and certifications.

  • 5–10+ years of experience in quality management.
