About the Role
The Print Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining printing equipment to produce high-quality printed materials in accordance with customer specifications and production schedules. This role ensures efficient machine operation, quality control, and adherence to safety standards.
Key Activities
Operate HP PageWide C500 digital printing systems to produce high-quality products.
Verify colours by matching customer requirements per job.
Match the proof to the sample to ensure quality standards are met throughout the job.
Troubleshoot minor machine malfunctions and perform machine maintenance.
Accurately report and record daily production and scrap to ensure inventory accuracy.
Ensure proper material handling and loading; maintain a clean working environment; practice safe working habits.
Preferred Skills
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment with minimal errors.
Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally in a team environment.
Strong organisational and communication skills.
Education and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent.
Knowledge of various types of printing systems for digital printing is required.
1 year of digital print experience required.
