About the Role

The Scientific Marketing Specialist will be responsible for driving scientific engagement, KOL relationships, and evidence-based marketing strategies to strengthen brand credibility and market adoption.

Key Activities

  • Identify, build, and maintain strong peer-to-peer relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), including board-certified dermatologists and plastic surgeons. Manage KOL advisory boards and speaker bureaus.

  • Plan, organize, and execute high-impact scientific product presentations, clinical seminars, webinars, and hands-on workshops. Represent the company at major industry congresses and symposia.

  • Develop, review, and localize scientific marketing materials, clinical brochures, white papers, and presentations. Translate complex clinical data into compelling, commercially viable marketing narratives.

  • Collaborate with global marketing and clinical teams to develop and execute evidence-based marketing campaigns. Support the launch of new aesthetic medical devices and products in the U.S. market.

  • Provide high-level scientific and clinical training to the internal sales team, equipping them with the knowledge to communicate product efficacy, safety, and clinical advantages effectively.

  • Monitor competitive scientific landscapes and emerging clinical trends in aesthetics to provide strategic insights to leadership.

Preferred Skills

  • Direct experience in medical aesthetics (devices, fillers, neurotoxins, etc.). Experience at companies such as Allergan, Merz, or Galderma is highly preferred.

  • Strong ability to interpret clinical data and translate into marketing.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree required. Degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Biology, or related field preferred.

  • 5–7 years of experience in scientific marketing, medical affairs, clinical marketing, or Medical Science Liaison roles.
