About the Role
The Quality Assurance Lab Technician will be responsible for performing laboratory testing, monitoring product quality and food safety, and supporting compliance with customer specifications and regulatory requirements. This role works closely with Production, Quality Assurance, and R&D teams to ensure products meet internal and external standards.
Key Activities
Performing analytical and microbiological testing on raw materials, in-processÂ
Samples and finished products.Â
Conducting environmental monitoring and sanitation verification activities.Â
Maintaining accurate laboratory documentation and records.
Reviewing results against specifications and communicating nonconformances.
Supporting SQF, HACCP, GMP, and customer compliance requirements.
Assisting with investigations, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Maintaining laboratory equipment, calibration, and organization.
Monthly food safety audits.
Shipping samples for third-party testing.
Preferred Skills
Strong attention to detail and organizational skill.
Familiarity with food safety systems and laboratory testing methods.
Education and Experience
Associate’s degree in Food Science, Biology, Chemistry, Microbiology, or related field.
Prior laboratory or food manufacturing quality experience preferred.
