


About the Role
The Sales Manager will be responsible for leading and driving change in the sales, delivery, and merchandising activities within their assigned area of responsibility.
Key Activities
Direct and monitor the Soft Drink Sales Team in the areas of sales, placements, distribution, product rotation, code dates, pricing, POS, displays, and cooler position/sets.
Define and coordinate sales training programs that enable staff to achieve their potential and support company sales objectives.
Maintain key customer relationships and develop and implement strategies for expanding the company’s customer base.
Work closely with the marketing function to establish successful channel and partner programs as well as local and national programs.
Meet or Exceed set KPI’s and other performance goals, including Volume, Margin, Out Date/Breakage, and New Product Distribution.
Create and maintain an annual budget.
Preferred Skills
Experience in planning marketing strategies, advertising campaigns, and successful public relations efforts.
Knowledge of contracting, negotiating, and change management.
Knowledge of structuring sales quota goals and revenue expectations.
Education and Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Sales and Marketing.
5 years of experience in a sales and marketing management position.
