About the Role

The Production Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing daily manufacturing activities, providi leadership to production associates, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives within a fast-paced production environment.

Key Activities

  • Lead and supervise production employees during assigned shift operations.

  • Ensure compliance with all safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

  • Monitor production performance and take corrective action to achieve operational goals.

  • Coordinate staffing, scheduling, and workflow to maximize efficiency and productivity.

  • Promote quality standards and ensure products meet customer and company specifications.

  • Coach, train, and develop team members to improve performance and engagement.

  • Promptly examine and address issues related to production, quality, and personnel.

  • Maintain accurate production records and communicate shift performance to leadership.

  • Support continuous improvement efforts focused on safety, quality, efficiency, and waste reduction.

  • Foster a positive, accountable, and team-oriented work environment.

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with sheet-fed, converting, cutting, die-cutting, printing, laminating, packaging, or related production processes is advantageous.

  • Exposure to continuous improvement methodologies and performance-driven manufacturing environments.

  • Experience with inventory management, production scheduling, and ERP/MRP systems is beneficial.

Education and Experience

  • Previous supervisory or leadership experience within a manufacturing or production environment.

  • Experience supervising operations within corrugated packaging, paper converting, carton manufacturing, printing, packaging, or other industrial manufacturing environments.

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical education or training is preferred.
