


About the Role
The Quality Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining quality assurance systems to ensure products meet customer specifications, regulatory requirements, and company quality standards.
Key Activities
Management of the QMS, in particular, ISO and SQF certification in all departments.
Safeguarding and improving product and process quality.
Identifying and monitoring QM standards.
Represents the company to customers and suppliers.
Identify, develop, and implement systems and processes to ensure product conformance to specifications, including developing product specifications, procedures, and test methods as required.
Responsible for the review of new projects regarding customer requirements and the organization of initial samplings. Evaluation of results, if needed, creation of informative presentations with presentation of the results during team meetings.Â
Creation of inspection plans.
Adherence to laws and regulations regarding requirements for packaging with food contact.
Business Administration.
Implementation and control of processes for continuous quality improvement.
Implementation of the current regulations (ISO, SQF) in cooperation with management.
Participate in SQF and ISO certifications on-site audits.
Contribute effectively toward team goals, exhibits influence within a work group, and continues to develop proficiency in the competency areas critical to success in the role.
 Involvement in specification, implementation, testing and/or release of product.
 Lead continuous improvement project teams and execute changes and improvements to the quality
management system.Â
Resolve quality issues with suppliers and customers. Determine the nature of the nonconformance, identify responsibility, and negotiate a mutually acceptable return or rework of the product while preserving.
Preferred Skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Knowledge of statistics, root cause analysis, and corrective action processes.
Professional and optimistic attitude, ability to work in a team environment.
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree and minimum 5 years experience as a Quality Manager in a manufacturing environment.
Supervisory experience.
APQP/PPAP.
Knowledge of injection molding and assembly operations.
