


About the Role
The Outside Sales Representative will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, managing existing customer accounts, and driving profitable revenue growth within an assigned territory.
Key Activities
Develop and execute a territory sales strategy to achieve and exceed revenue objectives.
Prospect, qualify, and secure new business opportunities through networking, referrals, cold calling, and industry contacts.
Grow existing customer relationships by identifying additional packaging opportunities and providing exceptional service.
Conduct customer visits to understand packaging requirements, manufacturing processes, and operational challenges.
Work closely with internal design, estimating, customer service, and production teams to develop innovative packaging solutions that meet customer objectives.
Prepare and deliver professional sales presentations, quotations, and proposals.
Maintain an active sales pipeline and accurately forecast business opportunities using CRM tools.
Monitor industry trends, competitive activity, and market conditions to identify growth opportunities.
Negotiate pricing and commercial agreements while maintaining profitability objectives.
Represent the company at customer meetings, trade events, and industry functions as appropriate.
Preferred Skills
Strong understanding of packaging materials, manufacturing processes, and customer applications.
Existing relationships within manufacturing, distribution, food & beverage, consumer goods, industrial, or packaging markets are highly desirable.
Education and Experience
Minimum of 3–5 years of successful outside sales experience.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred, but equivalent experience will be considered.
At least three years of experience selling corrugated packaging, folding cartons, paperboard, paper products, or related industrial packaging solutions.
