About the Role
The Maintenance Manager will be responsible for leading maintenance operations within a fast-paced beverage manufacturing facility. This role ensures production equipment, packaging lines, utilities, and facility systems operate safely, efficiently, and reliably.
Key Activities
Lead, schedule, and develop the maintenance team.
Manage preventive, predictive, and emergency maintenance programs.
Minimize equipment downtime and resolve recurring mechanical and electrical issues.
Maintain beverage processing, filling, labelling, packaging, conveyor, and utility systems.
Manage the computerized maintenance management system, work orders, and maintenance records.
Ensure compliance with health and safety, food safety, sanitation, and regulatory requirements.
Coordinate contractors, equipment installations, repairs, and capital projects.
Manage the maintenance budget, spare-parts inventory, and supplier relationships.
Track maintenance performance, downtime, repair costs, and equipment reliability.
Work closely with Production, Quality, Sanitation, and Health and Safety teams.
Preferred Skills
Food, beverage, bottling, packaging, or consumer goods experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and automated systems.
Experience with preventive maintenance programs and maintenance management software.
Education and Experience
Diploma, degree, or trade certification in maintenance, engineering, or a related field.
Minimum five years of maintenance experience in manufacturing.
Minimum three years of supervisory or management experience.
