About the Role

The Senior Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sustainable revenue growth by leading National Account Managers, Regional Account Managers, and Business Development Managers.

Key Activities

  • Develop and execute strategies to drive revenue growth across new and existing customers. 

  • Identify key market opportunities and prioritize target accounts and verticals. 

  • Lead initiatives to acquire new strategic accounts 

  • Identify high-value prospects and guide the team through complex sales cycles 

  • Create clear revenue targets and sales plans aligne with company growth objectives. 

  • Monitor performance metrics and adjust strategies to ensure consistent growth. 

  • Trouble shoot and resolve escalated customer service issues.

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of: National Account Managers, Regional Account Managers & Business Development Managers. 

  • Establish clear sales expectations, quotas, and performance standards. 

  • Condust regular pipeline reviews, deal coahing, and territory strategy sessions. 

  • Build a culture of accountability, urgency, and continuous improvement. 

  • Recruit, develop, and retain top sales talent. 

  • Develop strategies to deepen relationships with key customers and expand wallet share. 

  • Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities across the company’s product and service offerings. 

  • Partner with internal teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences that drive long-term retention and growth. 

  • Implement structured sales processes to improve pipeline visibility and forecast accuracy. 

  • Track and analyze key performance indicators. 

  • Ensure consistent use of CRM systems and reporting tools 

  • Partner with marketing to align lead generation and campaign strategies. 

  • Collaborate with operations and customer success teams to ensure strong post-sale customer experience. 

  • Provide feedback to leadership regarding market trends, competitive dynamics, and customer needs.

Preferred Skills

  • Strong experience leading teams in low-margin, high-volume environments is preferred. 

  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth through both new customer acquisition and account expansion.

Education and Experience

  • 7–10+ years of progressive sales leadership experience. 

  • High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor’s degree in business, sales, marketing, or relevant field preferred.
