


About the Role
The Machine Operator will spend their day operating a plastic injection molding machine. This will include monitoring machine-made products, ensuring each part meets quality standards, and properly handling each part according to its specific process, which may include gauging, trimming, and more.
Key Activities
Operates plastic injection machines according to job specific instructions daily
Clearly documents start-up scrap, production scrap, down time, etc., daily
Performs secondary work/assemblies such as gauging, trimming, inserting, etc.
Visually inspects product for defects during operation to prevent scrap, downtime, etc.
Performs basic housekeeping, such as sweeping the area and vacuuming up trimmings.
Packages and properly labels products according to work instructions.
Preferred Skills
Can communicate clearly and effectively using verbal and written methods of communication.
Can comprehend written instructions. (With or without reasonable accommodation.
Education and Experience
Has a high school diploma or equivalent
Can compute sums using basic math skills including but not limited to addition, subtraction, multiplication, etc.
Has the ability to sit, stand, bend, twist, and/or reach for extended periods of time.
