


About the Role
The Maintenance Technician installs, troubleshoots, repairs, and maintains production and facility equipment while following safety and maintenance processes.
Key Activities
Perform repairs or maintenance work to ensure optimal performance and minimize production downtime, including routine preventative maintenance.
Maintains a safe and organized work environment in compliance with Corporate/OSHA safety standards and performs all work while adhering to all safety regulations and guidelines. and machinery.
Organizes and maintains the maintenance cage and spare parts inventory.
Provides emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.
Reads and interprets equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
Diagnoses problems, replaces or repairs parts, tests and makes adjustments.
Uses a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment, including forklifts, scissor lifts and boom lifts in performing duties.
Detects faulty operations, defective material and reports those and any unusual situations to supervisor or management.
Assists with new projects including fabrication and installation of piping, conduit and cables.
Performs programming and troubleshooting for automated equipment including PLC’s, HMI’s and robots to resolve performance issues.
Diagnose and resolve electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic problems with equipment.
Preferred Skills
Technical skills: The ability to use technical skills to install, repair, and maintain all plant equipment with an emphasis on electrical systems and robotics. Adapts to new technologies and processes.
Problem solving skills: The ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and solve complex electrical issues.
Education and Experience
An associates degree, or equivalent work experience.
At least three years of experience in manufacturing with electrical control experience.
