


About the Role
The Marketing Director leads strategy for molecular diagnostics and biomarkers, driving physician adoption, commercial growth, market access, and portfolio expansion.
Key Activities
Lead commercial launch planning, customer targeting, messaging, field readiness, KPIs, and post-launch tracking.
Develop strategic marketing plans aligned with company goals and budget.
Identify market opportunities through customer research, competitive intelligence, physician insights, reimbursement trends, and analytics.
Define product positioning, segmentation, targeting, and messaging.
Develop dashboards and metrics to support commercial decisions.
Lead lifecycle management of current and future molecular diagnostic products.
Develop positioning and value propositions for physicians, hospitals, labs, payers, and health systems.
Partner with Clinical and Medical Affairs to translate scientific evidence into compelling marketing materials.
Develop launch strategies for new products, indications, and market expansions.
Lead digital marketing initiatives for healthcare professionals.
Partner with Sales to develop sales enablement tools, messaging, competitive positioning, objection handling, and training.
Support key account strategies and physician adoption initiatives.
Partner with Market Access to communicate reimbursement, clinical utility, and health-economic value.
Translate complex scientific and clinical data into clear commercial messaging.
Support conferences, educational programs, publications, and scientific exhibits.
Build relationships with KOLs and professional societies to increase portfolio.
Preferred Skills
Proven Marketing strategy development and execution
Experience launching and commercializing molecular diagnostic products across CLIA laboratory services, FDA-regulated IVDs, or both, strongly preferred.
Experience with Medicare reimbursement, Local Coverage Determinations (LCDs), and diagnostic coding.
Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Molecular Biology, Genetics, Marketing, Business, or related discipline
Minimum of 8- 12 years of progressive commercial experience within molecular diagnostics, medical devices, pharmaceuticals, or precision medicine, including previous field sales experience
