About the Role
This Quality Supervisor will supervise a team of 8 Quality Technicians and ensure product quality, food safety, and compliance throughout the night shift.
Key Activities
Supervise and provide leadership to 8 Quality Technicians on the night shift.
Own and oversee quality operations for the 3rd shift.
Ensure products meet established quality, food safety, and regulatory requirements.
Monitor production processes and identify quality issues or deviations.
Work closely with Production Management to address quality concerns and improve processes.
Partner with Food Safety Management to maintain food safety standards and compliance.
Coordinate with Sanitation Management to ensure proper sanitation practices and corrective actions.
Investigate quality issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
Ensure accurate completion of quality inspections, records, and documentation.
Train, coach, and develop Quality Technicians.
Escalate significant quality or food safety concerns to management.
Support continuous improvement initiatives related to quality, food safety, and production.
Preferred Skills
Fresh meat, poultry, beef, pork, or other protein processing.
USDA-regulated food manufacturing environments.
HACCP, GMP, SSOP, or related food safety programs.
Education and Experience
Previous experience in food manufacturing, food processing, or foodservice.
Fresh meat industry experience is strongly preferred.
Experience supervising or leading a quality team.
