About the Role
The Service Manager will be performing administrative duties such as communicating with vendors, OEMS, greeting customers or answering phone calls, and opening/closing work orders.
Key Activities
Mentoring the service staff by promoting an environment where they can grow and excel.
Managing a team of Service Technicians and Advisors.
Developing a working knowledge of industry laws and regulations to ensure their service department complies.
Maintaining customer relationships to ensure repeat customers by handling customer concerns in a timely manner.
Regularly audits work being done and customer service being provided to ensure all standards are met and repair work is carried out effectively, correctly, and thoroughly.
Oversees team members performing inspections, preparing reports, and doing repairs; if necessary, carries out these job duties personally to ensure highest quality of work.
Ensuring all services are operating in line with the vision and values of City View.
Effectively managing risk.
Managing resources.
Direct and oversee the service policies and objectives.
Develop service standards and practices.
Preferred Skills
Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
Education and Experience
Proven experience in a service management or supervisory role.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
