About the Role

The Sales Manager will be plays a key role in supporting the sales team by ensuring smooth execution of sales processes and the efficient handling of operational tasks. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive sales productivity and process improvements.

Key Activities

  • Supply the necessary data or information about current/new customers and support a smooth set up process. Ensure all current documentation is provided/in place on sales technical reports.

  • Coordinate externally (customers) and internally - the development of new sales info and prototypes (samples) according to customers’ needs. Utilizing the customer care portal to have more of an automotive communication for customers that prefer that method of communication.

  • Assist the Customer Service Supervisors and Sales Associates with information needed for customer development projects and/or participation in customers’ needs.

  • Supply information needed for the Sales Team to accomplish customer requirements.

  • Verify with or assist the Purchasing Department with technical information regarding tooling, freight, pallets or any special customer requirements.

  • Control the orders and take a lead in supervising quality requirements for the product/customer. Utilize quality module for some of these functions.

  • Review new item sheets ensuring that the requirements are adequately defined between the Sales Team and customers, resolving any item requirements differing from those stated in the quote, and verifying that the company has the capability to meet those requirements. This will include utilizing the information from low prof by product code, mis-routed report, job costing and inaccurate warehousing and extra deliveries estimation.

  • Ensure accurate and timely order entry and follow up with all departments involved until the order has been received by the customer.

  • Communicate clear and accurate documentation in production meetings for the communication of customer requirements in process.

  • Inform managers about changes in process or procedures that could potentially affect them.

  • Process all queries efficiently, liaise with all stakeholders, internal departments and other external sources as required – deliver prompt and professional solutions via phone, email, online chat, etc.

  • Support the CEO and GM with information regarding major upcoming changes when necessary.

  • Build and maintain excellent relations with all customers and promote the professional image of the company.

  • Adhere to all the business’s technical processes/procedures, work within marketing guidelines and restrictions.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience working in a B2B sales environment.

  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.

  • 2+ years of experience in sales support, sales operations, or administrative roles.
